Terms and Conditions of Sale

Regarding Online Ticket Services

Article 1. Application of the Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all online ticket orders placed on the Musée de Montmartre website (http://museedemontmartre.fr/) via the Get-a-ticket interface. The Musée de Montmartre reserves the right to amend or modify these terms at any time.

In such cases, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in effect on the date of the order shall apply.

Article 2. Contractual Relations

2.1. The information appearing on the Musée de Montmartre’s website and in its brochures for the current year is subject to change; the customer will be notified of any such changes prior to completing their order.

2.2. The Musée de Montmartre is the customer’s sole point of contact and is liable to the customer for the performance of the obligations arising from these terms and conditions of sale. The Musée de Montmartre may be exempted from all or part of its liability by proving that the non-performance or improper performance of the contract is attributable either to the consumer, or to an unforeseeable and insurmountable act by a third party to the contract, or to a case of force majeure.

2.3. The customer acknowledges that he or she has the capacity to enter into a contract under the terms described in the following terms and conditions of sale: being at least 18 years of age, having the legal capacity to enter into a contract, and not being under guardianship or conservatorship. Otherwise, the Musée de Montmartre reserves the right to cancel the order.

2.4. Pursuant to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the services offered by the Musée de Montmartre—as recreational services to be provided on a specific date or at specific intervals—are not subject to the right of withdrawal provided for in Articles L 221-18 et seq. of the same Code, regarding distance selling.

2.5 The offers for sale presented on the website http://museedemontmartre.fr/, governed by these terms and conditions of sale, are normally valid as long as they remain online, until the allocated seats are sold out. As a result, they may vary in real time.

Article 3. Rates and Payment Terms

3.1. The prices listed on the Musée de Montmartre’s website and in its brochures for the current season are valid through the end of the year and include all taxes. They are determined based on economic conditions in effect on the date the rates are established and may be revised after an order is placed, solely in the event of a change in taxes applicable to the services offered. In such a case, the Musée de Montmartre reserves the right to adjust the order total by applying the percentage change of the relevant tax.

3.2. Each printed or downloaded online ticket order is non-transferable. It is not possible to gain admission to the Musée de Montmartre more than once with the same online ticket order. Only the first person to present the online ticket order will be admitted; that person is presumed to be the legitimate holder of the order. Online ticket orders are personal and non-transferable. They are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

3.3. Once the ticket order (reservation) has been confirmed and paid for, the customer may not retroactively request the application of discounts or limited-time promotional offers.

3.4. All payments must be made in euros using an authorized credit card on the day of the reservation. Full and immediate payment is required for any order placed on the website. No other form of payment is accepted. The Musée de Montmartre is not responsible for any fees associated with credit card transactions, whether resulting from exchange rate fluctuations or other reasons.

3.5. The date of confirmation of the ticket order corresponds to the date of the order and its payment by credit card online (Law of March 13, 2000, on electronic signatures).

3.6. Any ticket order form signed by the customer via a “double-click” constitutes an irrevocable acceptance that cannot be contested. The “double-click,” combined with the authentication and non-repudiation procedures and the protection of message integrity, constitutes an electronic signature. This electronic signature is valid between the parties in the same manner as a handwritten signature.

3.7. Credit card payments are processed on the secure banking servers of our partner, CREDIT AGRICOLE CHARENTE PÉRIGORD, via PAYZEN. This means that no customer banking information is transmitted through the Musée de Montmartre website or the Get-a-ticket interface. Credit card payments are therefore completely secure; the customer’s order will be registered and confirmed as soon as the payment is accepted by the bank selected by the customer.

3.8. The customer’s credit card information is encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and is never transmitted in plain text over the network. Payment is processed directly through the bank. Neither the Musée de Montmartre nor the Get-a-ticket interface has access to this information under any circumstances, nor do they store it on their servers. This is why the customer is asked to re-enter this information for each new transaction on our website.

3.9. The Musée de Montmartre reserves the right to refuse to fulfill a ticket order from a customer who has not paid in full for a previous order or with whom a payment dispute is currently being resolved.

3.10. Pets are not allowed; cell phones must be turned off or set to silent mode.

Article 4. Validity of Online Ticket Orders

4.1. Online ticket orders dated and purchased through the Musée de Montmartre website are valid only for the date and time selected by the customer at the time of purchase. Changes to the date or time are not permitted once the order has been confirmed.

4.2. Online ticket orders for children may be subject to age verification at the Museum of Montmartre ticket counters upon entry. If no documentation is provided to justify this specific rate, the Museum of Montmartre reserves the right to charge the difference between the child ticket price and the applicable adult ticket price on the date of the visit.

4.3. The Musée de Montmartre reserves the right to cancel any reservation in the event of force majeure. This applies in particular to weather conditions (severe weather, wind, rain, storms, etc.). If a cancellation is necessary, a refund for your tickets will be credited to your account within seven days at the latest.

4.4. The Musée de Montmartre cannot under any circumstances be held liable, particularly in the event of loss or theft of the ticket order. No duplicates can be issued on site.

Article 5. Presentation of Online Ticket Orders

5.1. The online ticket, referred to as a “voucher,” received by email upon completion of the order must be presented at the ticket counter on the day of your visit. This document may be presented as a printout on white paper or displayed on a portable digital device.

5.2. Printed Document: The print feature for ticket orders purchased online involves printing said documents on a standard printer via an Internet connection. The customer must ensure that the printed ticket orders are of good print quality and must strictly comply with the validity conditions described below. Partially printed, soiled, damaged, or illegible documents will not be accepted and will be considered invalid. In the event of poor print quality, the customer must reprint their online ticket order(s) to ensure good print quality. The customer may verify the print quality by ensuring that the information on the online ticket order is clearly legible. The Musée de Montmartre assumes no responsibility for any issues that may arise during the ordering, processing, or printing of printable online ticket orders by the customer.

5.3. Document Presented from a Digital Device: The “voucher” may be presented to the cashier from a portable digital device (cell phone or tablet). This implies that the customer has downloaded the document prior to arriving on site and has ensured that their mobile device is functioning properly. Partially downloaded, damaged, or illegible documents will not be accepted and will therefore be considered invalid. The Museum disclaims all liability for any issues that may arise during the ordering, processing, or downloading of downloadable online tickets by the customer.

Article 6. Personal Data

6.1. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the customer has the right to access, correct, and object to the processing of their personal data. This right may be exercised by writing to us at the following address, indicating your last name, first name, and address: Musée de Montmartre – 12 rue Cortot – 75018 Paris

6.2. Personal data collected by the Musée de Montmartre when purchasing a ticket online is strictly reserved for use by the ticket office.
